I didn't see anyone mention that (unless I missed the post) As a Canadian, this is OUR big game and a Canadian team is in the cup this year, so it's a matter of National Pride...will we beat the American team?? (not looking good so far, btw) Mind you, I think half of the NHL players are Canadian anyway I think we need a "Good Luck Oilers" thread to help Edmonton out of it's loosing slump.

I too think Brazil won't be the champion. Until now they are too confident... and playing too poorly considering what they are. They are leaving the defense too open. If our Dida wasn't the reincarnation of our legendary keeper from 94, Taffarel, they would be screwed. The past teams got shots to the goal much much more than Brazil itself, and they weren't the STRONG teams, but how Dida is taking all the balls they are getting too confident that they don't need to worry with the defense. BUT... if he keeps that way we can still win nonetheless...

Haha! Parreira deserved to be beaten, and he got it.

I'm not pleased that all my country had to suffer for this, but... well, Parreira (our coacher) was too overconfident for our sake.

How I pointed out, we were doing good because we hadn't faced the big bads yet, and now that we did, I foresaw our defeat. Defense, too weak, Parreira, way too stuborn with weak formations and busy with the **** in his head to do something useful.

The most funny is that my old man almost got that right with his bet, but he was too generous with Brazil, he bet Brazil 1x2 France...

Seriously, if Brazil had won this one the way it was playing, that would be a victory to be ashamed (like the second goal over Gana and the victory over Japan 4 years ago). Parreira actually believed he was doing good, and worse, he made our own players to be as overconfident as he is by sayig that bull**** to them.

Oh, BTW, I think it's already good to ask, who do you think that will get the cup?
