Does anyone know if there is an online verision of this? Or a singleplayer client able for download?

Everything on the-underdogs.info is abandonware and is free and legal to download. Haven't downloaded it myself but try it out.

Abandonware is not legal, technically it is still warez, only difference is that those who made the games aren't around anymore.

And not everything on abandonware sites is free, underdogs clearly state in the info on some of their games, that the game is only available to purchase, and isn't available as a free download.
Both Underdogs and Abandonoia, remove games, or redirect to a purchasing link, if the copyright holder objects.
They've done that with quite a few games in recent months.

ImperialDane - So if the developers aren't around anymore, who am I supposed to pay? Abandonware means a product that has been abandoned by the developers, publishers and any other rights owner. So abandonware is by no means illegal to download since there's no one to collect profit from it.
Sometimes people mistake old products which have been taken off the shelves and are not manufactured anymore for abandonware when infect some company still holds the rights to it.

In any way, anything that is offered for free download on the-underdogs is perfectly legal for the same reason BTOG46 mentioned.
