I guess you are.. I found it very compelling, open ended and interesting to the last moment. And if you are ever going to stumble upon a best games of all times list, I'm sure Deus Ex will be somewhere on it.

I did play Multiplayer ;p, though only against my friends in Direct Connect and Modem Dialing. We usually played standard mode, where we built bases up and such. I remember still placing Howitzers Siege guns outside of the bases and sieging. I'd like to play it again, but theres some graphic glitch preventing me from playing it. If you knew how to fix it, I'd be really happy

On a side note, the sequel was really depressing, didn't live up to expectations.

I used to be involved with bzclans & the online community and so on way back when i was 17 (soo uh 5 years ago :P, holy **** time flies) none of the clans pages seem to be still around so i highly doubt anyones still playing multiplayer. Those links should help you out, but its been so long that i cannot remember most of the other fixes that you might need to do.

Also do you have red oddesy? its like an expainsion for the original bzone... its pretty cool.

The sequel killed what otherwise couldve been a awesome series. A weird thing to note as well is the demo for bz2 had better graphics than the actual game released... the demo had a number of special effects and other stuff that was cut out of the actual game . I think it switched publisher half way through or something...

OMG!!! MY DISK WORKS!!!

Its scratched to buggery, but i managed to install it and it works fine, lol i was playing around with the rave gun on the first level, that things still the best gun in any game there is. Theres also a easter egg in the menu screen you can hear by typeing something (i think you type 'i am really p-ssed off' or something like that).

Red Oddesy was pretty impossible to get even when it was released... it was pulled of the shelfs almost straight away because of poor sales and pretty much nobody even knew about it at the time, i only got a copy from sombody kind enough to send one through mail.

Seriously, anybody who missed out on the era of mechwarrior2 & battlezone missed out on gaming and should just give up on it.

I have no idea how many hours I clocked up on MW2.

Where DID all those damn Mech Combat games go? Solid Gear is just the ****s compared to MW.

I just got Dark Messiah, I'm in chapter 5 and that's exactly what I was thinking. It's pretty similar but prefer the Blade of Darkness game. I like to use the amazon lady best she has some nice combos.

Anyway here goes:

1. Psychonauts - quirky and hilarious, I got really wrapped up in it, played it through 3 times. I enjoyed it more than grim fandango

2. Fallout 1 - just a great game, very well balanced.

3. Wizardry 8 - Like might and magic but more polished. Epic game.

4. Ninja Gaiden - It's a fairly tough game and it was very satisfying to beat the final level, 3 tough boss fights.

5. Syberia 1 and 2 (it's really one game) - very touching emotional fairy tale. Nice historical touches.
