Morrowind (Disappointed with Oblivion, you can't even rise your own mage tower in a inhospit land, nor it has the same freedom)
Diablo 2 (Killing waves and waves of monsters, I never thought I could get tired of it... but it took a while, and I go back every then and so)

2, System Shock 2 (the only game that ever scared me other than some parts in theif)
3, Baldurs Gate Series (play with BGT mod from spellholdstudios.com)
4, Homeworld (only strat game with awesome story)
5, Nethack (its free, and quite possibly the hardest game ever)

Fiendish... howd'd I miss it before... oh well faves for me.

Ha, if STALKER is up there, which I consider a really really good game, then you should defintely try Deus Ex (first one).
