Well... I have a big problem... related with a new cellular I bought yesterday...

This cellular, the Sony Ericsson Z610i comes with a Flash memory, a Memory Stick MSAC-M2 model, with 64MB... well, the problem is that when i connect the mobile phone to the PC, the computer doesn't detect Memory Stick Drivers... I've searched and searched for drivers but nothing. Emailed support team, and nothing, they dont have drivers.... any idea of what could i do to install them?

That’s weird. The computer should detect it because it’s actually the Win XP software that detects it. You should get a message from windows telling you that now hardware was detected.

When you plug in your phone Win should recognize it as a mobile storage device.
Two option I can think of. One, you connect the device while you already have the Windows explorer running. Sometimes you need to restart the file explorer so that it then detects the new drive.

Second, you have the phone set wrong. I just so happen to have the Sony Ericson K800i and when I connect it to my computer I have to make a selection on the phone. It prompts me for this and I HAVE to do it to go further. If I then choose data transfer the computer will detect it. But if I select normal phone use (or something like that) the computer does not detect it.

So, since I got to go now, I would suggest checking those two things.

Yeh, I've tested both thingies... but when Windows prompt a window that puts "New hardware has been detected --> Memory Stick" it says that no drivers were found for it... Really, i dont know what to do next

Surely Windows should detect it as an extra drive, you should be able to treat it like another hard disc.
Do you have a card reader installed on your computer, if you have you could just insert the memory stick and use it that way, that's all I do with my sd memory card from my digital camera, it's quicker than going to the bother of hooking it up via the usb lead and going through the menue on the camera.

Yes, that was the idea I had in mind these days BTOG, using a Card reader.. but i dont own one that reads my type of memory :P I'll continue the impossible search :P Thx for your tips mates, if you have any other idea, dont doubt writing it here
