I just bought copy off ebay for $10.
Will the game even work on my laptop?, I have XP Home SP2. If not, is there any software I will need? Plz add links to these downloads if I need them. thnx in advance |

It works just fine on my Dell laptop. I have XP pro SP2.

I hope it works, I played this game so many years ago, and lost my disk. I finally bought a new copy, and right now I am waiting on it to arrive at my door.
I got it from a seller in California, someplace, I live in Manitoba, Canada. It should take a few weeks. I only got ground shipping I believe, but I am a patient man. I just hope it doesnt get lost in the mail. |

Heroes III is perfectly compatible with WinXP (any version of it).
If (by any unfortunate chance) it won't, it'll not be because of H3. Nor because of XP.  Member of the Heroes of Might and Magic V Rescue Team . . . > Still waiting for a better game. |

Homm II works on my computer and I have xp(sp2 I think).

IIRC it's only H1 that has some incompatibility issues with XP (some sound settings I think), but still solvable.
