When i try to connect Quakenet.org server to speak with DM fans, a problem happens to me with any kind of IRC program i use (MIRC...) here is the problem * Connecting to se.quakenet.org (6667) - -se.quakenet.org- *** Looking up your hostname - -se.quakenet.org- *** Checking Ident - -se.quakenet.org- *** Found your hostname - As a preventative measure against abuse, all users from *.rima-tde.net are now required to run ident (and have port 113 open). This is due to an increased amount of abuse from this host.. - Closing Link: L|Kartabon by wineasy2.se.quakenet.org (G-lined) - * Disconnected Any suggestion? *.rima-tde.net... what's that BTW? You should be ok if you open the port they mention and run ident like they say. Yeh... i have Dynamic ADSL Connection.. My problem is that i dont know how to open ports in Kaspersky Internet Security program (version 6) I have Windows XP Disabled... need to know that to open the ports in my computer. Any1 knows?
