I've got a problem with Heroes I. When I run it, I can play it several rounds, and then it writes an error message like "it cannot be executed in 8-bit sound mode and this will be solved next time". But next time it does the same. Doesn't anybodu know, how to solve it? I've got Windows XP Home and Professional (on 2 PCs; this problem appears on both of them).

Are you using the compatability mode?
Are you using DOSbox or the ilk?

try and get a patch so u can run older game on XP thats what i had to do for some of my games

Go to options and disable music. That should solve the problem. If the game is running.
