I'm also from Finland and my last name is Swedish, but in my family we speak 3 languages: Finnish, English and Swedish.

When my sister was learing the Finnish language I was REALLY impressed. That's some tough stuff to learn! You could actually sprain your tongue learning to speak Finnish Googly

I don't know about finnish, but estonian (are much the same) are one of the most beautifull langue of the world. Some test shown, that estonian are the second most melodic langue of the world after italian.

But learaning it probably is very hard. With these letters with something on them and doubled letters, it is hard to remember street names or found right streetWink

LOL! Yeah, language can be tough on a traveller! I remember being in Hawaii and trying to get directions or find things on maps! "Take a right at Kinihinilookeelulupalalaliwanihoohoo Avenue, then another right at (similalarly crazy tough name and so on)".

The Welsh one can dislocate the tongue of an Englishman just looking at it never mind trying to say it.

Uh... my first post after few years, but I still got it!

So yeah, I am from Finland, Espoo(city next to Helsinki(the capital)). "Small" country located in Northern Europe with population of 5,2 millions. We are the 4-7th happiest country in the world. Finland is famous from Nokia and probably the most famous heavy bands in the world; Nightwish, Apocalyptica, HIM, The Rasmus, Children of Bodom, Stratovarius, Sunrise Avenue (which is not heavy) and many others. At the moment, here's snow outside and I got skating ice next to my house, which is awesome. -5 celsius outside at the moment. Pics (I didn't take these by myself):
