@ mechnic If you don`t make inappropriate posts on a family rated forum no one will report them. As for the "ignore" that only happens if you post something that is almost impossible to reply to, which leads people to do the easiest thing and reply to another post ahead of yours. It isn`t because you`re a stranger. It isn`t because you don`t belong. It isn`t because we`re elite. It isn`t because we`re trying to keep you out. Who would want to be an elite anyway? I mean, all that work!  Having to sleep beside the computer so that you can post a message within one minute if needed. Write all those, um, messages. You got any idea how much time it takes to get to a four figure post count? Hell I?ve been posting for 5 months now and I?m not even half way there. Of course, some of my posts actually make sense... well, some really do!  But that is beside the point.I mean, I admit, I tried it, I wanted to be elite! I thought I would do the smart thing; join the cult of Alterbranchh. You know, start at the top an all that. And what did I get? Right I?m locked away in some dungeon doing dirty laundry! How elite is that?  And then they promise you an endless supply of pizza. Ha, I tried it, all I get is pizza crusts. STALE pizza crusts. Stale pizza crusts with mould on them. Juck.  Elite, phifl, humbug. Here, let me share something with you: True power The moral of that story? It ain?t the cool, and apparently elite, that rule the world. It?s the nerds. Hell, the richest man in the world is a nerd. He makes more a day that some of those really cool oil barons in a year. Elite? They only look interesting, but if you really want true power you better hang with the peeps that can hack into your bank account quicker then it takes us to drink a glass of water. H.W. QFE! Heh, so true, and I've only made a quarter of a four figure post count so far!  I deliberately skipped applying for a position in the Cult, realizing that all the good positions were already given away anyway and I thought that for someone who spends a lot of time criticizing religion in general, joining a "cult" would definitely be the wrong thing to do. So I just keep posting 'meaningful' messages whenever I can, and most of the time this simply means that I don't say anything at all. Right now there isn't a lot of traffic in these forums anyway, so some more meaning |
