IGN: Why did you decide to omit Rayman from the experience altogether?
Jacques: Not a day goes by without somebody asking us for a new Rayman game… He'll be back for more imaginative and fantastic adventures of his own before you know it, but not in RGH, which takes place among Humans.
YES! YES! YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! It's a dream come true! Long have I waited for the day where Rayman would be confirmed to have more adventure games! YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! I feel so happy!!!!!!
Now I can look forward to Rabbids Go Home without worrying that Rayman will be gone forever!
I really hope that man means it when he said the first part.
I have one criticism about RGH so far - the humans look horrible. They look like whoever designed them must have thought about Miis while watching that one Dire Straits music video over and over again. I can only hope everything will be more refined than that in the final product.
StaceyW- I am a Rayman fan therefore I *only* play Rayman games, sleep on hammocs, eat plums and drink plum juice and I'm *always* in fists fights, I with I could play basketball with my body too! >':
I agree, those humans look horrible. Far too skinny, for a start. They look like stick figures (and I thought I was skinny!). Plus, their faces look extremely poorly done.
Seriously, these humans look extremely out of place.
The Rabbids, on the other hand, are looking fantastic.
Same here, the humans as shown in the trailer and screenshots don't fit in with the Rabbids and the rest of the world. Simple designs aren't the flaw as Mii's don't look too bad either, just don't style up a bunch of stickmen. I'd suggest using the real Mii's so that the humans in the game have an actual purpose and creativity as well. I may give this game a go if things appear to be working out in the final product.
And yes, I'm asking for a new Rayman game, today, tomorrow, any day..
So, is Rabbids Go Home a complete Rayman spin off, or what? Kind of like what WarioWare is to Super Mario? Or is it a sort of 'twin' franchise to Rayman, kind of like how Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon are to each other?
