Rayman and Rabbids Moderator![]() |
I see the point there. Splinter Cell belongs together in a forum regardless of the installment because it's still Splinter Cell, so if RGH is considered an entirely new game independent from Rayman, the comparison doesn't hold water.
RGH belongs in the same forum as Rayman, though, still, because this franchisé originated from Rayman and because of their common history from the past couple of years. The forums aren't quite ready to split yet, I think. |

Perhaps I should be more specific..........
Rabbids Go Home is of course a spin off from Rayman, the Rabbids were after all a character from a Rayman game and hence why it’s listed within the RZ forum group. However.......It is a game in its own right (a game can be a game in its own right and be a spin off) and therefore Rayman has no involvement not only in the game but in this forum. As such any discussion on the Rayman games within this forum would not only be off topic but would more importantly not be received as feedback on the Rayman games because it’s not been posted within the RZ forum. Posting in this forum on any topic other than Rabbids Go Home if off topic and any such content would be directed to its more appropriate forum, in this instance Rayman. Finally I would add that posting off topic has never been permitted in the boards when a more suitable forum is available to post in, so this isn’t something new, this is how its always been. Should anyone wish to discuss this further please contact me in PT, otherwise lets get back on topic please. Thank you |

I see. It all makes sense now. So the Rabbids are Rayman's WarioWare after all. |

who said that the rabbids are leaving rayman.for all we know that big tower of junk thats supposed to reach the moon could fall over or somethin on top of raymans house, but i hope ubisoft make a half decent rayman adventure game and you could have multiplayer minigames with the rabbidsin the same game but a good wii rayman platform adventure game and ditch globox and all those crappy characters. maybe some flying levels with your hair a bit like the original rayman when you drink the potion. i mean ubisoft should be capable of it, we're talking about the legendary creators of assassins creed, the team making assassins creed 2, the team that made HAWX!!!
That is all!!! |

If the next Rayman game was only 'half decent' then I would be extremely disappointed. This is Rayman we're talking about. He doesn't deserve a 'half decent' major installment.

yeh u r right raydragon.we r talkin about ubisoft here and if they put they're minds to it they could make a legendary game.rayman deserves it! it is one of the few potentially amazing games that ubisoft have got!

They should make it just like the platformer Rayman Raving Rabbids was gonna be (with the combating and the animal riding) but with different enemies and a different title.

-thinks what ubisoft might make with that combo-
"Rayman VS Jason Pirates" enimies: pirates with creepy masks and chainsaws. That's all I got. |

I agree. Poor Rayman deserves it after his games being taken over by the Rabbids for the past 6 years. Back on topic, I think Ubisoft have come up with a great idea. If they're going to split Rayman and the Rabbids up, everyone's happy! |

It's impossible not to discuss Rayman at some level in this forum. The RGH game and indeed the Rabbid franchise were, after all, derived from the Rayman series itself, so there will always be instances where people will bring up the topic of Rayman even if it's within a Rabbid-based discussion. I may have misunderstood you and apologies if I have, but it sounds like you're trying to banish any form of Rayman subject in this forum. It's simply not doable. This is why I've always objected to forum rules as they contain all sorts of flaws... |

You're right you did misunderstand me.
No one is trying to banish Rayman discussion, but the post I originally referred to was not a post about Rabbids with some reference to Rayman, it was a post about a Rayman game and how the poster wanted the Rayman game and wondered where Rayman was. That kind of feedback needs to be in the Rayman forum. Now I did already ask if anyone wanted to discuss this further to contact me in PT, I won’t ask again, any further posts on the matter keeping this thread off topic in the process will be removed. |

It was clearly stated any further discussion on the matter should be taken to PT, and failure to do so would result in the removal of said post. You persisted in posting on the matter, so as promised your post was removed.

Ugh...
This is exactly why I left the forums. Pirate-Community was just because I couldn't keep up, this one not only because I can't keep up but because of this hating and constant misunderstanding. Let's run down the groups I've seen: 1. Rayman Fans who Insult Rabbids. 2. Complete Rayman Fans 3. Rayman Fans That Think That the Rabbids Should Still Stick With Them Even Though They Are Getting Exactly What They Have Been Wanting For A Long Time - Confused Rayman Fans 4. People who can enjoy both, despite of what happened. 5. Complete Rabbid Fans 6. Rabbid Fans who insult Rayman. 7. People who just gave up and don't care anymore. Okay listen, we're still going to get some Rayman game, we're going to get a Rabbid's game, what's the best part is that we get Beyond Good and Evil 2. Michel Ancel's working on the Rabbid's game (though we have had 3 Rabbid games coming to us every year while Rayman just stopped so I question the reason of making Rabbids first but that's besides the point) along with working on BG&E2 and we have had constant hinting about Rayman 4 in official articles (such as Nintendo Power), I bet you like next year we'll see a preview of Rayman 4, hopefully maybe Ancel will announce the pre-production this year, but this time, ignore what the Wii does and give us another all console game that will be even better than all the Rayman games combined! HECK! Somebody on Wikipedia even noted that we're ignoring the hints and signals about a possible Rayman 4. Let me say though, the article Luckster posted awhile ago: That was just too much for my fanboy heart. Seriously, cursing Rayman and saying he was holding the rabbids back? Ouch. To be honest, I know this game won't be hardcore gaming but it'll be a nice multiplayer game to play with friends. TV Party kinda proved no one cared for the same party games over and over. |
