Swamp, CP 2

Everytime I try to get to the next cp with Val where we are being chased by the helo and the humvees, when we get to the gate, Val drives through and then the truck(ours)disappears, the truck that was chasing us goes right through us, and I just sit there, I don't take any damage from the gunfire, I can't get out of the truck, and I can't get any farther in the game because it keeps on happening. I have eliminated all the humvees and the chopper, but can't get past that part of the game.

System: Asus an8-sli deluxe mobo w/ 4gb ram
BFG GeForce 9800 GTX OCed w/1gb onboard ram
Res: 1650x1050

blah, blah, blah.

What gives?
Please help, I would like to finish this game.
