i might be talking to myself here but oh well,
i don't play this game anymore, i called it quits about 3 weeks ago,getting ready for halo 3. i signed on today to find nobody in the optimatch under chaos, and only 5 games under team chaos. as if everybody slowly packed their bags and rana way. i also checked fcmaps today (just to look around) and that site is completly dead!!! nobody goes there anymore! when i was still there it was slowly dying, but now its complelty run down, everybody's gone except "surfdog jr" and "snowman" and about 2 other little kids posting threads about "my breath smells like carrotts" and "there are goths outside my house" ha, another kid was asking advice on girls. ha!! asking dating advice, on an anonymous video game forum!!....  . it's as if he doesn't have any friends in his real life. and it's these type of no-lifes kids that are what's left of the once proud farcry community.  its pretty sad to see a great community website completly hit the bags. oh well, guess they got what they deserved. i also checked the xbox360 forums which seem to have no life either. even mr ryan r (the mickey mouse kid) decided to move on out. its too bad, this game's achelles heal was always the lack of community. i knew some day it would finally kill it. oh well. any there? helloooo? helllllooooooo??  ....................... |

I agree, this game seems to have just about run its course. That it even lasted this long after its release is pretty impressive. Most games that don't have "Halo" in their title don't usually last anywhere near this long.
There are still a few people playing, mostly in the evenings. Last Friday, the Frag Dolls hosted their Frag Doll Friday session playing this game, and they had a pretty full room for most of the night. But yeah, with Halo3, COD4, Mass Effect, Team Fortress, and other high-profile games on the horizon, I'd say that it's just about over. There will always be a few diehards sticking around, just like you find with practically any game.   |

Oh, fu** I bought that game some days ago, but my Xbox 360 is at reperation so I can't ply it yet, and now I finding out that the game is dead, my freind lied to me, nooo! Waste of mony :'(

People still play, But some things have changed. People are now sticking with people they know mostly.I host and got 4 other freinds that host. But here's the deal. Rooms fill up fast and stayed filled threw most of they day. So it is very hard to get into.
As for Halo 3 , i played it for 2 week's and was bored. Went threw co-op legandary in around 10 hours. Got on to multi-player and the maps where sorry and the game play was just like H2. So realy nothing new. I just hope UBI gets on the ball and comes out with another FC for the 360 soon. Its driving me crazy. I will probley pick up FC2 on the PC. But to tell you the truth i like it better on the 360. Its funner when you can chat with your freinds without haveing to use TS or Vent. |

I've been playing a lot of the Mark the Dog maps of late. Never been a big fan of the Halos, have got Halo 3 but it just has something missing that Farcry seems to have.
My other fav was VIII on the old Xbox which is about my all time fav apart from CounterStrike Simpsons Mod on the PC, oh and good old Quake Area on the PC. A lot of the games shops and supermarkets are pushing Farcry on 360 at the moment so new blood may flow soon. |

Yeah, when I had the Far Cry Preditor demo there were lots of people. The full game has no one. It seems people would rather save money by playing the multiplayer demo rather than full game It sucks i know |

I would Say that Far Cry Instincts Predator still is not dead, for a long time hardly anyone played since Halo 3 but a couple weeks after Call of Duty 4 came out and people started to come back to Far Cry Instincts Predator and I would still say the community or harcore predator fans are still at the same level as what the use to be so in short, FCIP will not be truly dead untill its predecessor (Far Cry2) comes up.( and yes, UbiSoft has confirmed that Far Cry 2 Will be coming to 360 and PS3)

YES!!!!!! People still play this game! We get a game going on it almost everyday! Sure it isn't as popular as other games but Far Cry Predator is a main stay in alot of people's eyes!
