I Know The Feeling Of Being Rusty .. Ive been Doing A Few FFA Servers And Getting Owned ...

gALE1995 (does your parents know you play this game? :P); There's usually about ~100 players online, enough to find a game. At least if you live in Europe or Africa.

I just bought a new copy of fc (cd was cracked...). I'ma go online asap when I come home (from this LAN) and then we'll be 101 players online

I can't help but to like the MP in fc... sometimes it's really epic.

There were no occupied servers with green ping numbers.

I played on a server in the UK, my ping was 109. Most of the full servers had pings over 200 which will not work for me in the Eastern US. Lots of people are playing but it depends where you live if you can find a game.

i never really did give MP a fair shot. couldn't get it to work worth a damn when i first got the game due to cdkey and related issues, and when i finally did get on, it was when 90% of the servers were running that damn super speed or some other mod, which i hate. i think i played one game of assault that was pretty fun, even though my team sucked outrageous :P. everyone else was trying (and failing) to play as a merc killing people, and i was the only engineer running around trying to fix everything at once :P

There are still a few clans who are playing it, at least sometimes. According to feedback from them, it's hecka fun.

You might wanna see if you can find one.

I am starting a server tomorrow,it will be called Prometheus Server and it will support up to 12 players.The bad thing about it,it's 1.33 version because ubisoft/crytek didn't make dedicated server 1.4 for linux!!!

maybe catch up with u and cuz 1 night, atleast with your ping we wount be able to shoot you

ps cliveys patch launcher is a good idea as some play 1.4 and others 1.33

These forums are pretty dead, just a few regulars visiting once in a while, check http://crymods.net and/or farcry.crymod.com and I think you'll find a few more

Have you thought of a windows emulation program? In my Mac days, you could emulate Windows on the Mac OS and run most if not all PC programs. Games are the most problematic due to driver problems, but you could look into that.
