Graphics don't just make a game - playability is just as important. Now if you have a 360 like FarCry and love good maps then it is just as important to get FarCry Evolutions Backwards Compatible for the 360.

There is still a big following who have some superb maps and they are just as passionate as the Predator crowd. I myself bought Instincts again and went on live to find people still playing/hosting so don't say the game is dead.

Some of these maps must be seen so before you open your mouth and start ranting - read the info below and please when the time is right help out your fellow FarCry community on cross platforms. Lets make it 1 big happy family.

Getting FarCry EVOLUTION Backwards Compatible
Despite my gut feeling that this is a losing battle, Genesis Device will not begin a concerted effort involving the entire FarCry community to convince the XBOX Backwards Compatibility team to give up on the notion that making Evo 360 compatible will harm the sales of 360 consoles. I feel that they believe that due to the enormous crowd that plays this game almost exclusively, that if they allow it to be 360 ready, that very few people will see the need to make the move to 360. It seems that they believe that if enough people are forced to buy a 360 to join their old friends on FarCry Predator that it is going to help sales. I find the precedence for my belief in the decision that was made by Microsoft about 6 or 7 months ago to remove Evolution from production and recall all remaining new copies from store shelves (although just over a month ago the title became available again). We intend to convince them that it is actually in the best interests of Microsoft to indeed make our favorite title Back Compat. We believe that if Evolution players are not afraid of leaving their friends behind when they trade in their original XBOX to help them offset the high price of the 360, that this will actually generate MORE sales of 360 consoles.

There is now a NEW map on Live called "MAKE EVO B.C. !".

This map represents an important element in a movement to pressure the XBOX Backwards Compatibility team into seeing things as we do.

No official date has been set yet, but we will, with everyones cooperation, hold a day long vigil where everyone who plays FarCry Evolution to refuse to actually PLAY the game, but rather to HOST A DEDICATED SERVER running this same map ALL DAY LONG!

We have recieved specific contact information on how to reach the XBOX Backwards Compatibility team, and will be making them aware of this vigil when the date has been set.

IN THE MEAN-TIME... we need everyone to download this map and begin to spread the word. Make it a mission! Tell everyone you play with what we are doing. Let them know about the site, and make sure they know the date (once it has been decided of course).

There are a bunch of us out there trying to get this Backwards compatible.Any help would be greatly appreciated.And what harm could be done?

The deadline closes on March the 28th so we really could do with your support on this.

All you have to do is go to www.genesisdevice.org

Register then go to the backwards compatability thread, vote and enter your Xbox Live GameTag.

The petition will be sent to Microsoft after this deadline.

I myself have been playing Evolution lately and have seen some great maps, This would be great if we could get more support.

There are around 60 so far that are behind us, Please help us get stronger by supporting this.

There is a Map for Evolution & Predator which has been made to promote this petition.

Hey i love Farcry Instincts Evolution and i agree that they should make it xbox 360 B.C.
(Its partly my favorite game because im so good at it lol)
