Hey all, I'm looking for some suggestions of gaming surfaces for PC. I've finally decided to get a pad after a year because of the scuffs and scratches my mouse has put on my desk - it's not smooth anymore.

I know a regular mouse pad will work fine for PC gaming and image editing but I wanted to get a gaming surface this time since I've never had one before.

I recommend Steelseries.

I use this one at work and it's great.

I use an Icemat, but apparently, Icemat was bought up by Steelseries. I have one similar to the SteelSeries Experience I-1.

What the hell mouse are you using that it scratches your desk? Get a new desk, not a new mouse pad :P

I prefer the size of the mouse pad over the material...though, I definitely prefer the more cloth-like texture over the harder, nylon like plastics. The size issue is more because I tend to play FPS on my PC with a low sensitivity, so I need the space to really throw my mouse around when I need to look around quickly.

Thanks to Phin for the sig!

Thanks for the suggestions. I've narrowed my choices to the SteelSeries Experience I-1 or SteelSeries QcK.

I should get a new desk since my current one is pretty old but it still holds up for the most part, so don't really need one right now Smile
