I am in Colorado. We are going to a BIG family BBQ. We have a few little fire works and sparklers.
 Phoenix I like your sparkly glitter 4th of July banner!!! Awesome.  That's too bad you guys have a fireworks ban.

YAY! I love the 4th! This year, we're grillin' out with my mom. Setting off a few small fireworks for the baby. Nothing too big, we don't want to scare her.
After that my mom is watching the baby and we're going out on our neighbor's boat on our river and watching a huge fireworks display from the water. I'm super pumped. Fireworks are more than legal here... they're mandatory. Check out the store that's like 30 minutes from my house:  It's open 365 days a year. They are big on explosives out here. Yee-haw, amirite?  I frag on the first date. As we all know, money can't buy knives. |

Damn that store is MASSIVE! We were going to go to my friends lake house but we couldnt get a cheap flight so we said screw it. I love fireworks an the 4th of July! Party Party Party   |

Love the fact that store sells fireworks and beer! make sure you do a finger count at the end of the night We're kinda keeping low key too...smoking a couple of briskets and hanging with family and friends during the day then hitting up the Rockies game and hang around for the fireworks they do at coors field. I get to work both nights this weekend and will likely miss out on all the 4th fun....
 Who wants to be at a bbq anyway when you can be working at blockbuster right??

I'll be celebrating my 24th birthday tomorrow so it should be lots of fun, especially with COD4! I hope that everyone has a great weekend and I wish America a very happy Independence Day too.

There have already been several brush fires in Seattle due to the long period without rain and the large number of idiots that like to set off their own fireworks.

I love lighting fireworks, but I never was stupid enough to light them when I lived in Seattle. No matter where I was in Washington, I was always surrounded by trees. I'm not going to risk destroying peoples lives just to light a bottle rocket.
