Hello everyone. I have just started here on the US forum. I was on the UK forum, but unfortantly it has ended.

Thanks for starting a thread on this on the US forums, Jak.

Anyway, I've been posting over on the UK forums ever since they started three years ago. I've also played a lot of games with them since they started. Playing with them has been a great experience. They were the nicest bunch of people around.

They will be greatly missed by myself and a whole bunch of people.

Hahah, Bear, that was exactly the same thing I thought when I saw this.

We're very sad to see the UK team disband. Every member of the team is a great ambassador, not just for female gamers, but for the entire gaming culture. I wish the girls the best of luck in their future endeavours.

It has been a while! maybe a year or so?

anyway i was shock to hear this. Those girls were great and they will be missed.

What was once an expanding idea, is now taking a turn in the other direction.

With all due respect to what they have accomplished and promoted, I don't find this very surprising. I'm in fact surprised that they lasted this long with such a dwindled team. Why wasn't it possible to recruit more members? They were around nearly as long as the US division...

In a way neither do I. I could be totally missing the mark here, but I think gaming is a much, much smaller 'scene' in the UK and France compared to what it is in America. (I mean respectively to the population- America's population probably has a much bigger percentage of gamers and game events compared to over here)

UK-ers prefer MMOGs. I see thousands of them on EVE Online.

If it is a smaller scene, then that could be one reason why the UK Fragdolls never seemed to hit it off as big as those in the US. Off topic but you have a PS3 gamer tag in your signature.......I've never seen one of those until now! I envy your opportunity to play MGS4.

Lol the PS3 is bringing more games out now so it good that i have one.

Not so sure why they finished, but they might come back. who knows.
