Kojima himself will be at the Virgin Megastore on Times Square at Midnight June 11th to sign Copies of MGS4.

So with a mere two months to go until the greatest game of all time ever descends from the heavens to briefly illuminate the unrelenting darkness of reality, I feel it's time to stoke the hype fires. /me stokes

A lot of (poor,misguided) people like to say that MGS is just amovie with no gameplay. HAH I laugh at them. This is a glimpse of how the gameplay in MGS4 will work, bear in mind that the difficulty is at it's lowest setting to make it accessible for convention folk, so the enemies are not as alert as they will be in the final game.

This trailer focuses on the Beauty and the Beast Unit. A group of ladies who after suffering PTSD from the effects of war agree to be merged with mechanical parts. Does any part of their humanity remain? We shall see.

Get a job, sell your body..you can't be using all of your organs. I don't think you're trying hard enough.

The Gekkkos are partially organic, so they bleed, excrete, etc.this can be seen in the trailers. That's why they make animal-like sounds too. Also, Rex and Ray kinda sounded like dinosaurs so it makes sense that the Gekkos would sound like something smaller.

Touché. I meant to highlight the fact that they're smaller and work in teams but you're right.

Drebin is the guy who launders weapons. he's a weapons launderer. Kinda looks like sisqo, maybe he sells thongs?

So if or when I manage to get a PS3 and the game (or it comes out on the 360), not only will I have to probably fight those biomechanical cattle but I have to avoid stepping in their **** as well? That's just great...

I much rather just play it for free at my friends house.

60GB or 80GB is the best. The 60GB ones are hard to find but have full hardware Backward Compat.

80GB has software BC but it still has a high rate of compatability.

40GB only plays PS1 games.

If you plan to get MGS4, I suggest you get the bundle. PS3, Dual Shock 3 and mgs4 for 499, the same price as the one you linked. btw, ps3s at the moment come with the sixaxis not the dual shock 3, so that is an extra saving in the bundle.

But that is a while away so if you can't wait that one you linked to is great too.

I would get this if I had a PS3, the only PS3 exclusive that actually interested me. I don't have the money and don't want to spend that much for 1 game, so I will wait to see were it goes in the future.

This is probably the only game worth owning for the PS3.


Might get the PS3 bundle just so I can have a blue-ray player.
