If you didn't hear the news today, there was another mass shooting today here in Orlando. I actually applied for a job in the building where this happened just a couple of years ago, and I drive by it every day going to and from work. Fortunately the cops were able to capture this guy pretty quickly, at an apartment complex just a couple of miles from my house.
These are some seriously crazy f'd up times we're in.
Agreed Brimtown, and it sucks because you never know when or where this type of thing can/will happen. People seriously have some crazy thoughts in their head these days....
I heard about both of those incidents and they disgust me. At least one of the shooters is in custody from what I understand and maybe we, as a society, can get a better understanding as to why these awful acts happened.
Other societies resort to suicide in such instances. Ours resorts to violence. Great world we live in.
I can't help but think a lot of these situations could be avoided if people just paid the **** attention to what others actually say. Oh sure, almost every time something like this happens, it's either, "no one listened to the warning signs!" or "it's the last person you'd expect!" but come on, at least some of the time, a person is noticeably very distraught.
Anyway, I'm slowly getting off topic. Yeah, it sucks. And it's probably a problem we'll continue to have for quite a while.
