The Day That Never Comes

Yeah, Bob Rock can suck it for producing such a crappy album. Death Magnetic appears to be good again. Pretty good video, pretty good song! Tour starts in not too long also.

Maybe I'll see this on MTV. Oh wait they don't play music videos.

Yea. It started out kind meh. About half way through when they broke it down old school was when it got interesting. We will see I guess. I wasn't completely moved by this song. It was alittle better and at least back in the right direction.

rick rubin worked out for them, i think.

it's not ****ty nu-metal or anything. we'll see how the album turns out i guess.

I still don't think that Death Magnetic will match what they did on their earlier albums, but it appears to be better than the stuff they were putting out after the Black album.

As a whole I like that song better than their last couple of albums combined.

However it still seems like they are trying to squeeze in every riff they have in their catalogue.
I hope the rest of the album rocks though.

I'm assuming you know that they will be releasing the entire new album on GH III at the same time it comes out on cd. It's also supposed to be on GH WT if I'm not mistaken.

Of course. I did hear they are gonna do a GH Metallica as well. Same thing Aerosmith did.

Although, if they put a huge amount of their old stuff on there. This could be good.

The music was fine.

It was the lyrics and Hetfield's singing that lost me.

His vocals I thought improved some of their music in S&M and but I'm just not digging his lyrics with the music. They don't sound gruff anymore.

Yeah, definitely better than that St. Anger crap! I used to be a big Metallica fan until that came out. Maybe they can win me back again. Hope the new album is good

so last night they had an Album premiere party hosted by Dave Grohl. I have got to say that the new album is like a breath of fresh air. So many crunchy, rockin' songs on it. Its like they went back to the long form epic songs of the mid eighties.

It still seems like they are putting every riff ever invented into every song, but to me its a vast improvement over the last three albums.

I will get.

oh boy. as if those two bands would acually challenge any other bands. whoa. they are so..uh..yeah..well..THEY FRIGGEN SUCK OK! You could ave at least chose a couple of bands worth a grain of salt.

Really. There aren't many bands with a library of pretty good metal greatness as Metallica has in their vault. Everyone is pretty hard on them for the recent albums of the suk. Trust me. I know what these guys did. I've seen them live 3 time as well. I think they lost a great talent in Jason Newsted. The guy was incredible. I believe he had a huge part in writing the songs as well. Which would explain the lack of his prescence in this new song. Trujillo is awesome, but I just think that they were better with Jason. It was a chemistry those guys had. Of course, don't forget about the guy who Jason replaced. Cliff Burton. Who died in their tour bus accident. I seen him in Detroit before the accident. He was a talent as well. RIP.

You can't deny the stats. Over 55 million albums sold and 5 grammy awards.

Metallica is honestly garbage. They always have been.
