not really sick.i would want to make a example of him.public execution the main event starring him and several HOURS OF BRUTAL TORTURE. How many amber alerts would there be if we started doing this instead of prison? (in my view a SLAP ON THE WRIST FOR THESE SICK *******!!) Not to many i believe.they should be in agony long before they die.it's not sick to wish vengeance on these sick ******* it's sick to wish nothing at all. laws on people like him are to light.out in a few years with a label "predator" but what's that do? nothing.. there are no police that come to your door saying "hey this guy did so and so, watch out."we are left to guess if that person next door is going to harm our children,family,or us...A Quick Death would be a gift they do NOT DESERVE. Oh yeah we can all see that alright. I don't think you're all the way there yet. I am shocked by the callous and uncaring outlooks of some people here regarding this subject.
I am as much about making a joke as the next person, but i fail to see a single thing worth laughing about. When i hurt myself, i laugh at the pain as a way of getting beyond it. When a friend of mine trips over a peice of sidewalk and face plants, i ask if they're alright and then proceed to point at them while laughing at their clumsiness. However the more i have read about this inhuman scumbag such as the fact that he started planning the abduction when his daughter was only 9 years old as well as how he treated others in his household including rentors makes me wonder how anyone can make jokes about this. It shows not only a great level of immaturity, but also a level of emotional emptiness on the parts of those involved. Pretty sad.   |

The problem is you guys expect to much from people from over the net. Excuse the rest of us who have lack of care or compassion for strangers we don't know. If I cried for everyone in the world I wouldn't have any tears left over for people I ACTUALLY know.

I expect little from people over the net. I usually don't care what they do either. That said however, this situation is something that it doesn't matter if you know the people. ITs more a matter of knowing when something is truly wrong and in no way humorous. |

Why do you expect less from people over the net? Do you keep separate how you are online with how you are offline? What about with people you know from both ie those you meet online who you then meet for real?

The reason i have lower expectations of people online is because i long ago learned that people will use anonymity to their advantage online to make statements for the sole purpose of shocking or getting a rise out of others. Even if they don't agree with the words they themselves are writing. Regarding the members of this site, I have met most of the people here and hung out with them for extended periods of time with the inclusion of Alcohol into the mix. I have i feel a good understanding of these people to know what to expect from them. I do know that the majority is more disgusted at the thought of the subject of this thread than they are ambivalent about it. Pancakes for example says something of a serious nature at most .00000000000098% of the time. When he starts saying things that are obviously serious is when i will start to worry. |

More like I don't really care what happens to people I don't know. There I said it. I don't care what happens to Genghis John, or do I care much about the girl who has been raped. Sure I think that 20 year rape is FUBAR, but it doesn't mean I cry over it. I think its a matter of priority. It's just how I feel. I'll show some tears when someone like ZeeEvil gets in to some trouble.
Oh by the way, I'm an kinda of a ******* at times in real life and not just over the net. I posted a pretty serious Post yesterday night on this thread, that appears to have disappeared. A post pointing out some need to be said stuff. I'm tempted to post it again. |

I think he's afraid to show his true character. What's he arguing, that we should expect less of him? He's bright, you can see it in the jokes. He's selling himself short.
And I posted that before you replied. We're all *******s in real life sometimes. It's just a part of being human. Nobody's asking you or anyone else to cry. What did I tell bear? I told him this didn't make me feel terrible, I think it's messed up but it didn't tear me apart. There's a middle ground between being a douchebag and a saint though.

I think he just likes yankin your chain lol! Your outlook is the same as mine pancakes. I shed no tears over this. Nor does it enter into my daily life beyond the five minute conversation my wife and i had when it was on the news. It is disgusting. Tragic. Inhuman. For those reasons, i cannot bring myself to make jokes about it. Theres nothing wrong with being an *******. I do it on a regular basis. Mostly because i am so blunt that it shocks some people. I just figure it is better to say what you think instead of what you think others wish to hear. |

Since my original post for this seem to have disappeared...... Make an example? Thats the worst justification for torture. You do know that the Bataan Death March, and the Rape of Nanking are all examples of torture that the Japanese used to prove a point. You have some serious issues. You sound like you're a 14 year old, angry at the world for not being what your ideals are. If you happened to be an adult thats even worst. Maybe you need to stop reading the news for a bit and go out and enjoy life. |
