2012 might be one of those things. The only difference between Roland Emmerich and those ~~Sci-Fi~~ SyFy movie directors is that Herr Emerich has a much bigger budget to spend on talent and CGI.

Hey, it could be worse. Uwe Boll, I believe that is how you spell it, could be directing it. Then you'd KOW it is a terrible film.

I love Roland Emmerich's movies. Over-the-top disaster movie cheese, and I enjoy every second of them.

what are you talking about? im going to go see 2012 for good insight on this whole mayan calender thing. You guys may make fun of roland emmerichs constant destruction of life but believe you me i am ready to give aliens a cold, i'm ready to move to mexico to survive an ice age, i can trap Godzilla on a bridge, fight re-animated soldiers called unisols, and even travel to a different planet using a stargate. If anything this movie already shows piloting through LA and never actually going UP is a good strategy. Im getting prepared.

I'm most excited about the CG in the movie.. every time I see the preview via movie theater, I wanna see it more and more. It looks like it'll be entertaining enough to warrant 6 dollars on a ticket.
