I just like the fact that he makes movies that have machine guns and rocket launchers in guitar cases.

How many movies have you made?

Would that be 0? That's what I thought.

In all honesty, though, how many serious directors have attempted to adapt a videogame into a movie? Not only that, most of the games that have been adapted thus far haven't exactly been the best story-driven games, which counts for a lot.

Unfortunately, those 'serious directors' rarely have complete creative control, nor the desire to accurately portray these videogame/comic creations, nor do they work hand-in-hand with the creator in order to make the best film possible.

If you haven't yet, check out the Sin City extra features. Then you will realize just how serious he was about making this film, and making sure it was 100% true to form.

I was stoked about this when I read the article... I think Verbinski could do it justice. Whether he will or not is another question.

Heehee. Love the Tarantino Daddy. Happy I'm with Ben. Verbinski could do it justice... we just have to hope that he does.

I'm as worried about the script as I am anything else. If they get John Logan, though, it could be good. I like his work. Has anyone ever seen RKO 281? Great stuff.
