Haven't put bad company in yet since I picked it up last week, gonna try to hop on randomly today to get the feel of it before sunday

I'll probably be on around 9:45p ET or so & I'll start a party. I think the way we're going to work this is to get everybody in a party chat & then one person hops into a game then everybody else joins when there's room.

May take a few minutes to get everybody into one room but since the game's over a year old, I'm not overly worried about it.

Just make sure you have the DLC!

BFBC is one of my favorite games and it was nice to be able to enjoy it with more then just 4 friends at a time.

Thank you everyone for putting up with the no-equipment-xp-unlockable-guns-thing. I had never come across that before. (at least EA fixed it for the last few rounds)

Had a lot of fun last night. Bad Company grew on me last night. I still like Battlefield 1943 a little bit more & while I appreciate the Gold Rush mode now that I know what the hell I'm doing (which was not the case in the demo), Battlefield still doesn't feel like Battlefield if you're playing something other then Conquest.

Party Chat worked pretty well last night but I didn't anticipate so many people wanting to play Bad Company so we didn't always have enough room. Speaking of which.....

Left 4 Dead this week. Unfortunately there will be a limit of 8 people (unless there's enough people for two rooms). Again, make sure you have the free DLC (marketplace link in the original post) so we can play the new vs campaigns.

We should also start discussing the game for the week after as well. Phoenix had suggested Call of Juarez at one point. Anybody else have that & want to play it?

My other suggestions from before were Gears of War 2, Far Cry 2, Team Fortress 2 & Forza 2 (or PGR 3/4). Definitely open to other suggestions as well.

I'm up for Left 4 Dead this week, so count me in.

ok, so I've put Call of Juarez on the list for the next week. I won't be there since I don't have the game but I won't let that stop people from playing something they want to play.

If anyone has ideas for the weeks following, we can still work that out now. I would like to try to do a Battlefield 1943 night but we'd need 16 people to get a private game going so that will be questionable.

Renting might be a possibility but I can't see myself dropping $70 on a game right now.

That's only usually the case when the game has the phrase "Call of Duty" in the title.

In fact, I'll tell you the average for Community Night...

The average number of people that sign up (this only counts sign-ups since that's all the data I have available... and yes... I do keep that data) for Community Night (since we started doing it in this thread) is 10.83.

Anyway, last time we did Left 4 Dead, we ended up with a 3v3 game so I don't think it's going to be a huge issue. If we do get 16 people, we'll setup two rooms. Significantly less then that & we'll just have to limit it to 8 players (or maybe one, Eight Player VS room & one, Four Player Survival Mode room).

lol...ya pretty sure my face met your shotgun a couple times while we were on the same team. think alot of this had to do with the "spawn with squad" option, which I figured out wasn't always the best option
