I would most likely go and give it to my parents so they can back up their personal photos form trips and such. Cause every time they want to do a full restore on their computer I have to play magical chairs with my portable 160gb hard drive for my laptop to save their stuff and not loose any of my photos and school data.

i will fill it all up with PORN! lol Just kidding...i will hook it up to my desktop and store all the games, music, music videos, Homework assignments, well everything so when i play my PC games it will run very smoothly!!!!

I would use the hard drive to start off my home media center. I have always wanted one but of course don’t have the hardware for it. Other than that, I'd probably partition it to 2 drives, a storage for my videos/pictures (of friends, trips, celebrations) and about 80 GB for windows XP and Yes, I do have a spare XP license YAY!

Other than that, maybe some space for computer games (my friends have started to get me into PC gaming). Some of these games take up so much space. And I'll definitely need it when I can't take my desktop to college in a year or so. I'd probably use the space to do a video blog for all my friends that I'll miss so much.

Yeah. Mine is pretty simple. More space to save pictures of my 8 yr old daughter, 6 yr old son and 1 yr old twins. More music, coloring pictures,plus space for all of my kids computers games and pictures they draw for me on paint and stories my daughter types up. Thanks for this great chance.

There are lots of things I would do with it and here are some of those things.

1. Use it to store my ever growing collection of music.

2. Install every PC game I ever had and never worry about space again.

3. Download massive amounts of movies that I want to watch.

4. Store all of my college stuff.

I'd install all of my games at once, hold onto every single file my girlfriend and my friends give to me, store all of my music CD's onto my harddrive so that I wouldn't have to hastle with the disks, and I'd probably buy my own digital camera to match and get a better internet connection. I need to be able to have a large amount of bandwidth to match a large amount of memory. Then I'd up the cache storage in Firefox 10 fold and download a bunch of pictures and recipes of cookies. Maybe I'd start a "cookie" folder and put in every single kind of cookie I find.

Mmm... cookies.

I would keep all the pointless videos my girlfriend and I make. They are special and wish I had the hard drive space to keep the memories even if they are pointless. Plus I can install all the games I own, not just the ones that are smaller.

I am still desperately in love with my husband after 17 years of marriage however our laptop has an 80 gig hard drive and I purchased a 150 gig external drive about a year and a half ago.

These hard drives are full of his love which is music iTunes has taken over our hard drives like mildew in a dark dank basement.

If i had a terabyte hard drive I would be able to dump the really cute pictures I took of my 2 cats, my 15 year old's birthday early in May, my 12 year old's birthday late in may and assorted pics taken in between.

Also our laptop seriously needs to be serviced which can only happen if I back it up and it will take about 16 Dvd's to get it done. If we had a Terabyte hard drive the back up would happen a lot faster.

Sorry to ramble but I thought of more than one reason why I need a Terabyte, I have been drooling over them for the last 4 months at Fry's.

Music is a big memory stealer. XD

For starters, I would use it to back up my massive America's Next Top Model fansite. It goes down about twice a year... and I have to go about manually reuploading and labeling over 10,000 photos. T____T;; *headdesk*

After that, storage for all my personal photos - balljointed dolls, cats, family, etc - and my music.

And then I would just stare at it pet it. Give it a cute name. Die of bliss.

I've got all of my photos ever taken stored on this computer. If the drive died, I'd be done for. The drive I used to back them up on has failed. So if I had this 1TB drive, I'd use it to protect my data.

It would be used to archive all my Fragdoll memorabilia ....

Cause I have about 1.25 TB on my current system (750GB onboard and a 500GB external)and that can handle my other stuff

I'd replace my old 20gb hard drive that is half full with music. The rest of my newer music I keep on different USB flash drives. I could also stop going through the hassle of deleting games and reinstalling them when I want to play. Pathetic, I know, but you do what you gotta do to game!

I'd give it to someone who needs it.

What would I do with 1TB of storage? Fill it with anime.
I recently was re-introduced to anime and now I can't get enough of it. However, I'm finding my 140GB laptop HDD to be a bit...lacking. The solution? Obtain a 1TB HDD and use it exclusively for the storage of anime.

Besides, it seems fate wants me to have a 1TB HDD. One week ago, I make a post commenting on my lack of storage, and a few days later, a contest opens up for which the grand prize is more storage. Coincidence? I think not.
