Loved Psychonauts. Loved Beyond Good and Evil. I think both were really excellent games that were let down by their timing, or their marketing, or their focus. It's too bad, since we'll probably never see a Psychonauts sequel, but I'm glad we're getting a BG&E sequel.

I don't see why there would be a Psychonauts sequel even if it did sell well to be honest. Though Double Fine is making another game of a totally different nature.

I played this game all the way through on Xbox and loved it! It's been so long thou, I want to buy it for my PC and play it again before the new one comes out. Where do I find this game? I remember back in the days it was out of print and you could only find used copies. But I'm sure finding a used copy now would be hard to do.

All the versions of BG&E are for sale on Amazon. I think they actually printed more copies of the game at some point. (<-wild speculation)

And I could totally imagine a Psychonauts sequel. I thought the ending intentionally left it open for one. I'm sure they won't make a sequel, but it wouldn't confound me if they did. Lots of humor, story, and gameplay left to explore.

What do you mean by all those letdowns you list? I think the timing would have been an issue any time, if you mean going up against a big game. No idea what you mean by focus. Demographic?

There's the upcoming Brütal Legend from Mr Schafer if that's any consolation to you Psychonauts fans
