I am a new Prince of Persia fan, having only played the newest game (never played any of the older ones - don't throw things at me, it's not my fault!), but I would have loved to see the newest one as a movie. Elika's story is so sad, and she and the Prince played off each other so well. And eeewwww, Jake Gyllenhaal??? Seriously. They could have gotten some better looking man-hunk to play the Prince. I don't get what's up with every female being in love with him...

Am i the only one who got a little bit disappointed because of this trailer? :/ At 1st when i heared about the making of a Sands of Time movie i was so excited and when i learned thet Jake Gyllenhaal will be staring as the prince i went like 'YEAAHHH' excellent choice, though i actually do giggle when i think of him as the prince lol, but then after i saw this trailer i felt - a little bit - sad because i was hoping that they stick to the Sands of Time game story, and also there was too much of visual effects that i hope that they don't go over-the-top and ridiculous with it and ruin the movie. But other than that i have high hopes for this movie and really can't wait to see it. They would have had to get an unknown to play the Prince since there aren't many Hollywood actors that look like him  I was worried that Jake wouldn't fit the Prince's personality mold but after watching the trailer I have gained hope haha!
