I was driving around earlier today running over hookers and pedestrians while listening to Phil Collins on the radio. All I could think was "Yes. We have finally arrived."

I listen to LRR. Liberty Rock Radio. When ever i'm lining up a stunt jump, I will wait for a certain tune. It sets the mood for the theatrical camera angles while in the jump. Gives me chills in 5.1 dolby.

Goodbye Horses~ by Q. Lazzarus

My favorite song in the game. And the song that will put the memory stamp on this game.

I like to get in a big truck. Not a 4x4 but a big rig and jump off the stunt ramps. Once I was on a mission and jumped off while a conversation in the car was going on. During the jump the voices slowed down. You know, the slurred slow speech like the teacher in Charlie Brown.

The best stunt jump was when I was being chased by cops and hit a jump. You have to jump over a wall. Of course I failed since I wasn't ready for it but with the cops chasing and you need a jump to escape is grade a hollywood chase scene stuff. If you take an older car the game feels like an action flick from the 70's or 80's.

There's one area of the game that reminds me of The French Connection

I find myself actually slowing down just before a tollbooth... anyone else do that?

I pay the toll. Sometimes I run through. It's cool how if you have the cop car you can go through or even use the lights to clear the road.

There's no reason for such disrespect, you act like I just insulted your woman. Now I won't sink to your level but you should work on your reading comprehension before you decide to step onto a soapbox. Did you not see the numerous times I said it was a good game? Why would I care if people bought the game, when I bought it too? When I recommend they play it? When did I say "Avoid this game like the plauge" "bad game" or "don't buy"? I said people could get away with a rental and they can. Do you even know the difference between a critique and criticism? I said I liked the game but it has flaws. Are you old enough to even understand that you can like something and still not love every aspect of it? If that makes you mad, tough. But I'm not going to say it's perfect because it's not. You yourself can admit that gta games can be rag tag in some areas. To say something is less rag tag than before doesn't make it beyond reproach or even good. It just means exactly that, it's better than what you had before. Best yet or not, when my bullets are hitting the wall two feet to my left for no reason or my grenade hits the corner of a doorway I was using for cover and sits at my feet my enthusiasm is lowered.

Just because you suck at something doesn't mean it's bad. I'm not bashing you here or anything but you can really do some cool stuff with the cars and bikes. It just takes some practice. If you think the driving is bad in this game play forza on the 360 for a few days. You'll be running back to GTA like a fly to ****.

Just because you're good at something doesn't mean it's any good. My buddy Berto mastered the controls for Lair and even he can join the universal consensus that they're god awful. You yourself said it requires "monkey fingers" didn't you? Does that sound like something that lives up to the claim "requires no patience whatsoever to play"? The problem here it seems is you're an all out person. The love it or leave it type. Nice simile though.

Myself. I like the helicopters. There aren't enough of them in multiplayer though. Making a nam-style hot zone drop and evading the enemy forever never gets old.

Not trying to bash you or anything, but you could learn something from your own advice here.

You can't compare these two title in that sense. Forza 2 was a racing sim and the cars handle like they're supposed to. GTA's driving is more of an arcade style, so it would be better to compare it to something more like Need for Speed, or PGR.

P.S. From what I've played so far of GTA IV I'm really enjoying it.

John. Don't take the game that seriously. It is a great game. GAME. Quit trying to put it up against pure perfection. I think you have went way overboard trying to derail a very nice accomplishment in gaming in general.

I will applaud Moon here to. Don't whine and moan just because you suck at something some of the time. Get over it. Or. Quit gaming period. You just can't handle it it seems.

What? Magiz comes back to post? WTF? Anyway. It's nice to see you again Phil.

Doc I come off mad a lot when I'm not. This is probably due to constantly advocating an unpopular opinion. Why do I do it? God only knows. Next time I should just go get a sprunk.
