Thats hard to say that Gamestop doesn't get alot of copies of a game they given some the highest alocations of games over alot of retailers in the last two years. I have friends that work at CC and at Bestbuy's around here and they don't get **** for shippments of games.

And yes resales are a huge part of business so they will be focusing on getting people to trade it in after they are done and/or toward something else, not that it's that hard to convince some people, they play a game for 2 minutes don't like it and take it back.

This game will probably set some sales records or at the very least come close to it. Lots of hype here's hoping it doesn't suck and I'm wasting my money on nothing lol

The game has hype and all of it is well founded.
There is a live broadcast on gamespot showing the game off in real time. as of 6 pacific.

As far as gamestop vs bestbuy, who cares?
Pre-orders define the quantities of games retailers are going to get anyway.
Pre-orders are big business.

"Let Sleeping Rockstars Lie: Kill a Rockstar developer in a ranked multiplayer match."

Within 2 months what are the odds you'll actually kill a Rockstar developer?

This is a 'viral' achievement. Basically, when people start killing developers. You will then be able to kill them to get the achievement. They did the same thing on GHIII. You don't necessarily have to kill an actual dev. Just someone else who has contracted that through the chain.

When I had that on GHIII. I had some people message me if they were so lucky enough to even beat me in face off. Asking me about my job making guitar hero. Gave me alot of laughs.

Picked it up on the way to work today at...Wal-Mart, along with a couple of delicious donuts. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes.

Gamestop was right next door, but they don't sell donuts.

I will be on tonight after 10pm eastern if anyone wants to tear it up just send me a message.

The only people who should be upset are those achievement whores who are pissed because they can't get the 1000 points unless they're in the right match at the right time.

I do have a sense of humour, however these type of achievements are neat in concept but poor in execution.

I'm not an achievement whore but I do enjoy completing games for a sense of... completion.

Some people who have been playing the PS3 version of the game have been reporting that the game freezes up during gameplay.

Rockstar gave a solution to someone who called their technical support line.

The solution:

Rockstar has said you should erase your game data and reinstall Grand Theft Auto IV if your PS3 freezes during gameplay.

Wait, that's it. The solution is to erase your hard earned save data and then reinstall the game and starting all over again?!

The game is outstanding. It is smooth as warm butta on the 360. Lovely.

In just 2 hours of gameplay. I have managed to kill half a dozen thugs bare handed, Met a chick, went on a date, bowled 3 games, threw darts at the bar, went on another date and shot pool, and got laid afterwards. All bringing in an achievement with the activity.

Gawd I love this game so far.
