For me GTA games get old after a little while. The missions get repetitive and I usually give up 50% of the way through. For me I hope I like the multiplayer. That's what going to really excite me!

I have been waiting for this for so long... I don't know if I'll be able to handle myself when I finally get it home.
The only thing... I dread having to wait in line at the store to pick up my pre-ordered copy. I hate crowds and lines... and well, any space where people are gathered.  --------  |

I played GTA 4 for about 30 minutes on Friday.
The game is very different but completely fantastic. This is the next generation of GTA and I am salivating at continuing play Tuesday. Narrative and story is up 10x Physics are completely overhauled, cars and on foot handle way better now! Alot of new mechanics are very appealing, including the cell phone (you can customize the ring tone)and branching story elements and morality choices. The Gun play is finally changed for the better! You can use an online dating service! Dating is much improved and just chilling with (NPC) friends in the game for missions and what not as a sidequest activity. Vigilante missions still have random missions but also structured most wanted missions where you have to take out a high value target, YES COOL! ETC ETC for ever, I only scratched a sliver of this game off the top and I am dieing for more. Didn't try multi but will be partying it up on live the 29th asap. ---  |

Will the game come with one of those Xbox Live trials? I'm too cheap to actually buy a subscription. Two years of getting free subscriptions has spoiled me.

Does the map have an ability to mark where you need to go for missions and where you can save and add personal markers etc etc? Kind of like Oblivion...   |

Awww. There there. A touch of the social anxiety there sarah? I can't say anyone's immune given the situation. Reminds me a bit of my mom though. A new library opened in our town and she asked if I'd take her down to it last week. So I took her there today and she was so embarrassed just to be waiting in line, surrounded by people she left empty handed. Is it just the crowds or the threat of interacting with them? It could be perhaps being judged for what you are taking out/buying? I dunno. I hate dealing with crowds because they are just down right loud and rude. You will get an over abundance of idiots than will run their mouths or push and shove regardless whether its GTA4 release or trying to pickup a book at a new library. That's why I like going to Pirates games. Very little amount of idiots because the crowds aren't that large  . It's a catch-22 at times since I want them to win big but at the same time I enjoy the smaller crowds. |
