It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. The line to play MGS4 was like 3 hours long, so I didn't get a chance to play that.
I played Smash Bros, but the only reason I played it was to get a *****in' Wii t-shirt. The game is pretty "whatever." You play one Smash Bros, you play them all. Smash buttons and a bunch of crazy **** happens on screen and you hope you win. Yawn. The wait to play the game was annoying. They had a bunch of Nintendo girls trying to get the crowd all JAZZED and HYPED and no one was really into it.
"SO WHO THINKS THIS WILL BE THE BEST VIDEOGAME EVER?! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO TEEHEE! DID YOU GUYS PRE ORDER HAHAHA I'M A GIRL!"
And some dude sitting next to me kept on "heckling" people. "YOUR PANTS DON'T MATCH YOUR SHIRT!" and whatnot. Genius. No one was laughing at him, so he kept on repeating the same banal stuff over and over and over. Whenever there was a silence in the crowd, he'd scream out TRIVIA! TRIVIA! DO TRIVIA! UGH.
The convention has potential. If it gets more companies backing it up I can see it being a lot of fun. As long as I can get in for free again I'll keep going. Amy.

I love the people you run into Andy. You always get stuck with those types.
