You can setup a party but it's not very well done.

Basically, when you launch the game & you're sitting in the menu, there's an invite friends option. At that point you can send out invites & join up with up to four friends...

However, as soon as you select 'Join Game', any empty spots will get filled up with randoms & there's nothing you can do to stop it (that I've found), so if someone is going to be a few minutes late to the game you either have to wait in the lobby & miss the start of the game or you have to take the chance of someone filling up their spot.

Now, if the random person leaves, they can join your party at that time but I haven't found a way to set your party to Private or Invite Only so that you can hold a spot for friends, which would be the ideal option.

ah cool, well 1 other thing I noticed as well bug wise I think. If you get a question right and "The One" gets it wrong it doesn't tally your final score up right.

I was so frustrated I never got even in the mob and I played almost every night.

It has all of the details for how the game is played and i must say, it looks pretty awesome.

p.s I need an american for tonight willing to share american answers! The Canadian trial was all or mostly Canadian questions I just now am realising that there will likely now be a load of American questions that I won't have the slightest idea about. WTT Canadian answers for American

I don't think American questions will be a huge issue, at least during the Live shows because this Beta is for both countries, as opposed to just Canada like the last one was.

There might be some Canadian/American specific Extended Play games but I'm inclined to think that they'll keep the Live shows fairly general now.

there is a small download but no cost or anything atleast for the beta

Setting the reminder for the game on the Dashboard should add the download files to your queue.

Otherwise, it will auto download when you go to launch the game.

I played last night Just over 100,000 lifetime points so far and 73 sweepstakes quals.
This could be a very fun game. I loved seeing the huge variety of avatars and watching the crowd rock out!!
