Red Steel 2 does look good and if the controls turn out as good as many say this will no doubt be a huge win for the wii.
I like this console alot, and think its done a great job meeting gamers in the middle, one of my favorites so far is no more heroes which was a blast to play....cant help but laugh while recharging the weapon on that.
The slashing is cool, the gun is cool, but the fact that it auto targets another enemy, or even worse any other damagable object (even if it is behind you) after the previous one is destroyed completely ruins the game for me. I spent more time trying to figure out which way it just turned my character than I did having fun killing people.
I don't mind the Wii's graphics...lol I don't think Nintendo consumers have minded for a while actually. You go to Nintendo for quality stories and fun gameplay. And every other console goes to them for innovation.
Honestly, I could care less if they had games for "hardcore" gamers since every other console and the PC does that and I think that's why they are pretty clever tapping a market that was pretty much ignored. No one has given me a convincing definition for what Hardcore and Casual is yet so I usually ignore the terms now and just focus on the games
But if a game like Super Mario Galaxies and Zelda: Twilight Princess are for "casual" gamers, I'll happily call myself that or maybe I'm Casualcore lol.
I really enjoy getting an inside look at the new games you girls demoed for Ubi at E3 and this was one of my favs, it looks super fun to me and I will for sure be getting it when it arrives, as well as the new Splinter Cell
