Nice we gem, Brooke. I've actually have been itching to see a Cirque de Solei show for a while now. I love them so, so much. It's much better than any other style of circus performance.

Thanks to Phin for the sig!

He makes it look easy. The strength and leg control required for accurate trampoline jumps is huge. I strained my thigh once doing a fairly normal trampoline routine. I had to skip ovre my dance classes for three weeks straight.

I've always wanted to see Cirque de Solei as well. Oprah once describe the show as a natural high.

I heard if you go to one of those shows, it makes you a poofter.

I... I really want to go seen one, too. I had no idea what it was about other than what I had seen in a certain South Park episode many years ago, and when I finally saw clips of their training and performances I thought to myself, "Holy ****, I don't care how much spandex is involved, that is the coolest idea for a circus I have ever seen."

There is one here in Orlando at DisneyWorld Boardwalk and it was amazing.

First time I saw it it made me want to cry the beauty and athleticism humans are capable of.

Thanks for the awesome sig Phin!

I saw that one (La Nouba) a few years ago, it was absolutely incredible. Some of the things they do just don't seem humanly possible. Check out this amazing clip.

My wife and I saw a live performance of "O" It was one of the best things I have ever seen to this day.
Tickets were about $130 each and worth every penny.

Have seen both La Nouba (Orlando) and Allegria (travelling show in Newfoundland, Canada)... my wife and daughter additionally went to Saltimbanco (Newfoundland as well) ... all excellent shows.

Yes it is a permanent show in the Downtown Disney area ... there are some blackout dates but it pretty much runs year round.
