Hey, guys, wait up after the credits when you go see Iron Man. I realize that Marvel has been doing that on pretty much every movie anymore and you guys are probably used to it, but I thought I'd give a heads-up regardless.

By the way, to Valk, I saw you with the PMS Clan at GDC on this Intel video they showed us before the movie (since Intel was showing the movie to retail people for free). Well, it could've been your sister. SOrry if it was.

All i can say is this movie is my Favorite marvel movie to date

I liked the bit after the credits. The whole movie was good but Robert Downey jnr's performance is what made it. He was great.

I saw it this afternoon. B-/C+. They took what could have been a really interesting story about an alcoholic overcoming his personal demons and dumbed it down to *****IN' SPECIAL EFFECTS and Robert Downey Jr. winking at the camera every once in a while. But it was kind of entertaining, so whatever.

I think his alcoholism will be the story of the next Iron Man movie. This was just the origin story. If you noticed, he had a drink in his hand any time he wasn't working on machinery.

I like this movie, I thought it did a good job as Tony Stark.

They are not delving into that story yet. Maybe the second or third movie.
Its an important aspect of the character, but not the only thing in his history to talk about.

I know about the scene after the credits and this is what it means.

There is a crossover scene after the credits in the Hulk that start Downey Jr. MARVEL made this movie and are in complete control of it. They plan on releasing Iron Man and Hulk, then Captain America, Thor and Ant-Man and crossing the Characters over into an AVENGERS Movie after they all premiere in their own Franchise.

To Bad Warners isn't this smart.

2012 is the rumor. Iron Man 2 has already been confirmed for 2010. Ant man is in Pre-Production right now.
MARVEL is fast tracking Captain America as their next big release followed by THOR and Mathew Vaughan has been signed to write and Direct It. The two problems that they are having are
(a) Finding the right person to star. (Likly an unknown)
(b) The budget is estimated at roughly 300 million. They want to build it out in the same quality as Lord of the Rings.

That's going to be a long wait for an Avengers movie.

Agreed. Iron Man = Best superhero movie I've seen, to date...

...Up until they make a kickass Green Lantern movie, that is. :P

I'd rather wait to get quality movie, then have them pump out a bunch of **** movies.

I don't think you have to worry about that Ninja. MARVEL is not going to half-ass their Characters when they have complete control. Also most of these have been in the planning stages for years.

I've been an Iron Man fan since as long as I can remember, so I love this freaking film. RD Jr. was hilarious, as well. Go see it if you haven't yet.
