Oh wow, I'm in NYC this weekend near that area, can people come in off the street and watch the competitions and stuff, or is it a totally closed event?

I'm pretty sure anyone can spectate.

I almost decided to go to this - didn't realize it was going to be this big!

Rob going for the GWR is interesting - this is the record for the highest score? Because my friends Sean and Calin hold the record for the longest playtime (56 hours). They were mucking around during some of it so their scores on the on-disc songs probably weren't as high as they could be, but they're both on the very top tier of drummers.

Good luck to Rob - what's the current score that he has to beat in order for it to be considered a record?

So I'm here now and nothing is really going on yet. the samsung experience store has a buttload of computers and stuff to mess around with so here I am until I see something going down. Theres not a lot of people around at all. So hopefully that'll change.

Ok so this is what happened today. Amy was playing Jamal in Halo 3, and Amy was winning and need one more kill to win. The game stopped cause of the family timer. So while Amy went to get a samsung employee to get more time, Jamal quit and told people it didn't count as her winning. So little later, Amy got on a microphone and told everyone what happen. Funny stuff.

Yeah, Jamal is a pretty sore loser. I kept hearing him complain under his breath. I didn't even bother to give him a GG after the match. Was my first SF4 match in months too. xD
