What with Dragon Age, L4D2, AC2 all this month, I can only afford to get the regular edition.
It's going to be a fun month of Ramen and baked potatoes every day! Ah, the sacrifices we make!   |

I know! Left 4 dead 2 AND AC2 on the SAME DAY. Harsh! I have enough credit to only get one of those games at launch. I think Assassin Creed 2 wins that. |

Left 4 Dead has never really grabbed me, there's something about the gameplay which has never felt quite right... on either 360 or PC. Assassin's Creed 2, however, looks incredible. Black Edition. Day 1.

I'm not getting MW2 until I get a job
 Hopefully I can get prestige edition then. I will be going to the midnight launch however... Band Hero for the DS comes out the same day and I have an interest in that game :P  |

If I wanted night vision goggles that bad, I'd fork over the money for the good ones. It's a neat little gimmick they've got, but ultimately seems like it's targeted towards the people who are going to enjoy the novelty of it (which is perfectly fine, and actually probably a really smart move.)
When I do pick it up, I'm planning on getting the regular version whenever Steam puts it on sale. |

Yea, I've been drooling over it for awhile, I'm a bit of a Bioware fangirl for sure! I even played that Dragon Age: Journeys game in anticipation last night, which was surprisingly fun and immersive for being a freebie. |

Imagine if the bill is not even yours !!! My wife is doing her Masters in Education so I get to fork over about $1000 per term (which is not bad) but there are 4 terms and the fourth is $2000 ... so annually I get to pay an additional $5000 out the door on top of mortgage, vehicles, insurance, food, kids stuff (dance, swimming lessons etc.). Stay in school - reality is much more expensive !   |

Well since I found out today that my own employer is ****ing me over on my pre-order, guess I'll be scrambling to find a regular edition on launch day.

I paid off my Hardened Edition a couple days ago.
And yes, of course I'll be at the midnight launch! We're having military people at my store as well as decked out Hummers and playin some CoD4, of course. We even have a live band. I work at GameStop, but luckely I don't have to work the launch. I got the afternoon shift on the 10th. Kinda sucks but I'll be up all night/morning playing and then I'll go to work at noon for like 5 hours, and then back home to play some more! Woots. lol |

Yeah, I actually ordered it. But several hours later, I had this wonderful moment of clarity, where I finally realized that Prestige was a ****ing ripoff and all I really wanted was the Call of Duty XBLA code. My mom found 20 jeffery dollars to Toys R US from my fourth bday. She held out on me... so i put it towards the game. The employees were like "what the f are these they're ancent". Can't wait for tuesday

I am getting the Hardened Edition, mainly because the Prestige Edition (With the Night Vision Goggles seems a little bit overkill for me, and if I want NVG, I'll save up the money and order the expensive ones from a military catalogue.
