* JJ knows more then 15 of his toys by name. It use to be more but some of his toys have been hidden for awhile so he forgot some.

*JJ recognizes commericals! There is a car salesmen that brings out a Beagel from his desk drawer at the very end of the commerical. When the commerical comes on, before the dog even comes out of the drawer, JJ starts barking. He knows what's going to happen before it does.
At first I just got it was a coincidence but then he did it again to the same commerical last night.

List your dogs or cats talents.

My dog knows a bunch of her toys by name also.
Of course she gets so excited that when she goes to get one she tends to also bring back at least 4-5 more as long as she can fit them all in her mouth without dropping them.

My dog would act like he wanted to go outside and pee, then when I got up to let him out, he would run and jump in my chair.

He's way to smart for his own good. He figured out out to get past the spray bark Collar we got him- he tilts his head towards the ground and barks, spraying the floor instead of him. And he knows how to wrap his mouth around the doorknob and turn it so the door opens for him. And this is why we securely lock our doors 24/7.

My dogs could open doors by leaping up and using their paws. Do you have any idea how awkward it is to track and retrieve two St Bernards that have taken off about the countryside? That compound thing was pretty useless...

He kept waving a banana in front of me and calling it a female aardvark

I have a door blocking the closet where i keep sheets and pillows and stuff, and my cats move the door, open the cabinet with their paw and leap in to hang out in there.
My fat one knows how to give high fives on command.

you aren't famous till they put your head on a Pez dispenser....

I know they weren't mentioned but one of my ferrets is pretty smart too. We have sliding glass doors for our shower and Loki knows how to open the door. He also knows how to open the cabinets under the sink. And he can remove the cover for the drain in our bathroom shower. Thankfully he can't get his head down that pipe or he would be gone...

We're going to film a documentary about when Ferrets attack and show me running into the bathroom shower to hide from a crazy ferret, only to scream my head off as he just opens the door and gets me. That would be hilarious.

You should do that, Wolf

My brother once did a kind of stopmotion short where he was attacked and dragged away by this

He was quite bored at the time and said he wished there was a way of changing the "expression" on it

My dog, Bauer, knows all the names of his toys AND he named them himself... I just wish he'd tell me what they're named.

He's pretty amazing. He learns new tricks in like 10 minutes flat, which is great considering he's a basset and all.

I know it's probably bad for his back, but I have him do all kinds of adorable tricks like sitting up on his hind legs ("sit pretty"). His best trick, by far, is when I make a gun out of my hand and point it at him and say, "Bang!" He falls on the ground and rolls over on his back.

My dog is smart enough to poop in the neighbor's yard. We are all proud of him. Aside from the neighbors.

My dog of late was very bright. Unfortunately, she got scared when a neighbor fired a weapon next door and ran out into the road and was killed by a speeding vehicle. Her name was Heidi. She was one of the most well mannered dogs I've ever seen. I miss her. Sad Eyes

On a more upbeat note. I had a friend that had a dog that was pretty impressive. He was trained to get beer from the fridge.

Given that thought. Here is a vid of the smartest dog ever!

Incredible.

My roommate's cats are kinda like dogs. And they follow me around. One of them even waits for me in the bathroom in the morning! And she likes to clean the floor if she finds trash...

Love em. <3
