Thanks Brooke for your compliments. I actually have a problem with my nails too. Sometimes they stay long and pretty and other times they break off. My nails are pretty and long now because I am pregnant yay!!!!! Prenatal vitamins do wonders for your hair and nails. You can take them even if you are not with child. Its healthy. I'm due May 11th. I have two girls so maybe this one will be a boy. I really don't care as long as the baby is healthy.

Maybe you should wish for a girl and then you will get a boy? All my sister Shyla ever wanted was a little girl and she got 5 boys 0 girls. lol. So this is where my reverse wishing is stemming from.

I need to start taking prenatal vitamins if they really do make your nails grow. Do they have any side effects like weight gain?

One time Alex (former Frag Doll) brought up a good point. I mentioned how all pregnant women have this glow about them and look beautiful. She said, "If you think about it, they’re taking tons of prenatal vitamins and are the healthiest they will ever be because they have to make sure not to eat or consume anything that wouldn’t be considered healthy."

So maybe that is the secret of staying young and glowing.....Prenatal VITAMINS!!!

They are def ok for non pregos. You can get them at wal-mart or call your doc and tell him you want him to prescribe you the good stuff. Basically all prenatal vitamins have is the stuff your body needs. Although mine taste a little like fish oil I have no side effects. I take Concept DHA, whats in them: Ferrous Fumarate, Polysaccharide Iron Complex, Vitamin C,Folic Acid, Thiamine Mononitrate(B1), Riboflavin (B2), Niacin, D-Calcium Pantothenate(B5), Pyridoxine HCI(B6), Biotin(B7), Cyanocobalamin(B12), Copper(as Copper Sulfate), Magnesium(as Magnesium Sulfate), Zinc( as Zinc Sulfate), Omega-3 Fatty Acids, DHA and EPA. Yes there are many words in there that I may not be able to pronounce but this is my third pregnancy and I have had no problems with these vitamins. The only things to watch out for are the pill size(cause some brands can be huge), the taste(hope you like fish) and possible indigestion or heart burn. Other than that your hair, skin and nails will most likely improve. Also if you plan to have children in the future your body will already be used to the pills and you'll be super healthy with all the nutrients needed to help your body provide for the baby. No they don't make you gain weight, its a win win situation.

Vixxen I love your Zebra nails!! I can't wait to try that techique. I just got to get a hold of the black nail art pen. Both places I went were sold out of it.

I did checker board on my nails, but I had to use a white pen on black nails. I think it would be better if I paint my nail solid white and had the black pen

I tried the zebra print.. and it ended up more like a cow print.

Okay finally found a black art pen. I tried checkered board in different sizes on each nail.

I think it turned out pretty sweet.

I LOVE checkered nails! I used to do them back in the day, but they would drive me crazy because I'd try to do them all the same, and when one was slightly different from the other I'd have to redo them over & over.

I like how you did yours all different, Brooke - it looks better & seems much less frustrating. I just got some new pink, black & white nail polish so I will have to try and do something cool

And everywhere I go to get one of those coolio nail art pens, the black is sold out I saw them a while back (before seeing how good they work) but I didn't get it because I thought it would most likely suck.

I used to be obsessed with doing my nails when i was younger...each nail a different color, polka dots, etc., but now that im older, i think i have man hands, so i stray away from it, but now im intrigued!

maybe ill try playing around with it and see if i can come up with some halloween styles....perhaps black nails with pumpkins or blood dripping down them..hm..
