Ok, so we're bound to have a girlie thread here from time to time, and this is one of them. Guys, please grin and bear it. Razz

Anyway, unfortunately, today my straightener went kaput. It was a Hot Tools Ceramic, and I loved it, but I'm going to go with something else this time, as it only lasted about two years for me. My hair is naturally curly, but I wear it straight almost every day, it's just easier for me to maintain that way.

Having that said, before I dive in and get the first ceramic straightener I see, I'd like to know what brands you ladies here recommend. My only qualification is that it has to be ceramic, but other than that, I'm open to any ideas. Please share your girlie, yet edgy wisdom. Big Grin

I have the best straighter in the world. It even has these tiny vertical strips that condition your hair.

It called a Bio Ionic One Pass

I saw a few months ago it was on sale at Amazon for 103 dollars, which is like 95 dollar cheaper then what I paid for mine. Eek

It's worth every penny!

Heck yes! I have thin hair so the chi doesn't pull on it, thank god!

I have a Babyliss but wanting a new one myself...

Has anyone tried the wet to dry straighteners?? I'd love to try it.....my hair takes about 2 hours to blow dry and straighten so I'd love to cut that time in half!

I bought mine 4 years ago at Walmart.. It's so old the brand isn't even legible on it. It still works nicely though.

I think it's time to upgrade soon. Big Grin
