Since Heroes started banck yesterday, I guess I'll ask it: If you could have a superpower, what would it be,and why???

I always had a tough time picking. So my top would be:

super healing
being able to phase through matter
invisibility
pyrokinesis


Though, before anyone makes their decision, remember to make the right one:
Mutant healing or Adamantium Claws

I've always wanted invisible powers.

The power of not being held accountable/responsible for anything. Then I wouldn't need to be invisible, I could walk right into a woman's changing area and blame it on... I dunno, the door not being properly locked, and people would accept it.

Naturally, what I mean by that, is I'd use my powers to steal from the rich who didn't earn their money and give to the poor who are actively trying to better their lives. Yeah.

Much like Rogue, I'd want the ability to leech other people's powers.

I would probably like to fly. IT seems to be the most practical power to have. Unless you plan on robbing banks or whatever.

How about Captain Planet's powers? Or Rodimus Prime, so I can transform.

We had a thread like this on the other forum I go to. Then people started with "the power to manifest my will into reality" and other stuff that essentially made them God. Which is lame.

I'd like to make people do whatever I tell them to. (think Jedi mind trick style) Life would be so much easier. Who needs to rob a bank when you can just order people to hand you their money? "Speeding officer? You must be mistaken, I was going with the flow of traffic." "I like that. Do you think I could have it?" And so forth. You could be the president or just take in a ballgame with refreshments for free. Your choice.

And if anyone else with superpowers tries to give you flak for not having a fighting power, well you just tell them to get lost.

I'd have to go with instant regen, much like wolverine. I mean come on, how awesome would it be to jump out of an airplane with no chute and land, just because you could?

I'd probably choose flying. There are probably some truly amazing places I could visit.

Either that or particle shifting. Walking through walls would be pretty awesome as well.

I think I'd just want telekinesis. It in and of itself accounts for multiple powers. Just look at characters like Jean Grey minus the telepathy.

Healing sounds great, that analogy about dropping out of a plane sounds fun. X-ray vision wouldn't be bad, pyrokinesis would look cool. Flying would be awesome, almost like making my CoV character come to life.

There are plenty of superpowers that I'd want...probably too many to name.

But, with my luck, I'd probably get something pathetic like the ability to turn into a blob of cheese at will.

For me, I would have to choose the ability to fly.

Ever since I was little I would try to run and jump off of things, hoping that one time I would be able to fly.

I once asked 'Santa' for magic flying dust (like in Peter Pan) on my Christmas list, and was crushed when I didn't get it.

At least once a week, I have dreams where I can fly and it is so great. In my 'flying' dreams I have to run and jump into the air, then I can soar around and land on the ground, and then do it over and over again. When I get closer to waking up, it will ware off and I wont be able to go as high in the air and right before I awake, I will only be able to jump a few feet off of the ground.

It would be awesome if I could do that in life

Good choice, F3NOM. Umm, I guess if I had to choose one, it'd be hard. I would take either Shapeshifting, of copy power, like Madrox the Multiple Man from The X-Force Comics.

Flying for sure

I'd probably have to go with flying simply because it provides a level of freedom that the others do not, however cool they may be.

Teleportation

Although flying or invincibility would be pretty cool as well.

the ability to manipulate and harness sound/sonic energy.
