But there are also lots of people who would never buy a rock band game but would buy a beatles rock band game.

I think I'd have to disagree on that one. While Harmonix did a great job, this is still the same experience as the other Rock Band games, just with different songs. The gameplay is still fundamentally the same. Maybe other people are more willing to forgive some of the game's shortcomings because they are Beatles fans whereas I am not. Obviously I don't hate the band or anything since I bought the game but I certainly wouldn't call myself a fan by any means. Though, even my mom who is a Beatles fan commented that, at least on guitar, the game was way too easy but again, that's because of the music, not Harmonix's fault since they're just staying true to the music. Like I've said, great game but I don't see Rock Band 2's title of greatest rhythim game going anywhere anytime soon. |

The gameplay itself may be fundamentally the same, but the experience itself is different. For one, there's the introduction of the dreamscapes, as opposed to merely watching the band members on stage. Secondly, playing through the game unlocks photos and video content, much of which has never been released publicly before. |

You might not recognize many of the titles, but I'd wager that you'd recognize a majority of the songs once you heard them. |

I only have this to say:
"I am the Eggman. We are the Eggmen. Iam the Walrus. Goo Goo G'joob!" Love this game. " I'm a Saint, in Sinner's eyes, cursing clouds over California" - DevilDriver |
