I found a baby bird in the shade of a rock today. It was 10AM, and I'm sure it would have been dead by 2 in the AZ heat. I've been feeding it with an eye dropper. It's pretty inconvenient to take care of it right now, but I couldn't just leave it there to die.

what is it with frag dolls and bird rescues this week? pix plz, calyber!

I just got back from about a month long vacation to Europe the other day. A wonderful road trip from Berlin to St. Petersburg. I don't know why I was wearing my god damn ID that day though...

Calistah and I went to McChord Air Force Base today for an air show. It was amazing. They had the new Raptor there as well as the Thunderbirds team. Here are a few pics. If you'd like to see the rest, you can see them here.

This weekend I got to experience the world of another hobbiest obsession. It was an interesting romp into another world. I was in Anaheim for the National Train Show for the first public demo of our game. I'm not sure I have seen such a weird demographic, as most of the interested parties seemed to be 50+ or 10-. Here are some photos from the show:

There were quite a few girls who wanted to play as well:


One of the modular train layouts. This volcano actually spewed smoke every 30 mnutes, and actually set off the fire alarm.


One of the custom handbuilt cars that a fellow at the show created.


They even had a huge LEGO train layout with some familiar characters.
