http://kotaku.com/397936/rumor-dueling-rock-band-2-tracklists
I'm seeing roughly this same setlist in various places, credited to various sources so it's getting to the point that this is becoming worth mentioning. Also of note in the article, is the rumour from an IGN Insider article that the tracklist from the first Rock Band will be available as free downloadable content for Rock Band 2. I love the idea although I'd also like to be able to pick & choose because while there are some songs from Rock Band that I love, there are also some that I could live with never playing again. That being said, I'll never argue with free content so if they put them all up for free, I'll be downloading them all. I could also see them trying to find some way to limit the download to only people that have purchased the first game. Either way, I really like that Harmonix is putting a lot of thought into not leaving behind all of the songs from the original game because the first Rock Band has some excellent songs. |

You know. These are a rumour but.
If you randomly pick just half of those blindly. It still sorts out to be the best track list a rock rythmn game has ever had. Wow. Same here Max. There are a few songs on RB1 that I could do without. I still like having them there though. It is true that those and any dl'd content you have purchased will be able to slide nicely over to your RB2 tracklist. So. Roughly 200+ songs(which is what i have atm on RB1 added to what I'm hearing as a base setlist of 70-80 songs, adds up to be a very nice list to go into the new year. |

Logan, Max, Stone... WHEN YOOOOOOOU WERE YOOOOOOOUNG!! |

As long as they don't make a huge deal about their upgraded instruments, I'll buy RB2. I have the first one, all instruments included, and I would hate to have to buy new ones because of an exclusive RB2 feature. The cross-title playability of DLC is my favorite revealed feature so far and I'm looking forward to RB2 as much as the first one.

And by the way. Logan, remember when I was saying that they should make the Rock Band songs available in Rock Band 2. And then Grace started to mock us and say how dumb that would be. Well in your face Grace. IN YOUR FACE. |

Oh, sssssssssssssnap! I got mega-told. So let's see. Each download for Rock Band songs is about 30MB, give or take. And there is about 60 base songs. So that puts us at about 1.7GB or so. Of songs that you already have. But I'm probably just bitter because having two Live accounts on this tiny "20 GB" hard drive is starting to seriously cramp my style, son. --- Going out for the internet know-it-all douchebag of the year award. |

5 gold stars is impressive when your talking about four people keeping the balance to achieve them. Well done 'bromancers'!!!! This message has been edited. Last edited by: DocHolidazed, |

If you could spend so much on DLC songs, couldn't you afford a larger HD.

Hands On Preview from GameSpot
Of note from the Article: - Online Band World Tour (Duh) - No More 'Band Leaders' in Multiplayer - You'll be able to use one character for all instruments - 10 Songs (The 9 in the picture I posted on the last page, plus "Pump It Up" by Elvis Costello) - Being able to setup Setlists instead of just picking one track at a time - A reworking of the Solo Tour into a new mode called "Tour Challenge" - Battle of the Bands mode (which doesn't sound like the obvious eight player multiplayer mode that you'd expect it to be) From other forums I'm reading, it sounds like the GameSpot article originally confirmed support for the songs from the original Rock Band but when I read it, the line seemed to have been removed. |

I've already read like 3 previews on this. They really are all saying the same things.
E3 is going to be the place where we get all the great info. Thanks for that link though. Sheds some more light on the greatness we will be treated to. I'm loving the online band world tour. It's interesting to see they have a solo tour challenge. Wonder how that will work. The create a setlist is awesome. I want this game now. |

The new GameInformer is definately worth the read this month. They feature the upcoming RB2 in it and half plenty to confirm.
Wht caught my eye was the option to buy one of two drum kits. An improved original with better adjustments and velocity sensitive pads, as well as it being wireless. The other, is a premium kit made by Ion. This kit is completely adjustable and features 3 mounted cymbals! Just awesome. Check the scans. |

******** to that trash. It's a cool design and concept. But you wont ever see me pay 300 dollars to fill my living space with an overly expensive fake drum set. It costs more than the entire rockband package ffs. For that, just pay an extra 200 bucks to get a decent starter drum kit
