Yeah, it aired in the US, I remember watching it, probably not the original cause I was a toddler when it originally aired lol. But in the US it started on PBS.

I wish they would bring back some of the old Nick shows. Does anyone remember Snick; Are you afraid of the dark, Ren and Stimpy, and Clarissa Explains it All? I also remember You Can't Do That on Television, another awesome Canadian show.

Thanks for the awesome sig Phin!

Err- you play video games, what are you 11?

I like what I like.

Doesn't matter how old someone is. Hell, I still watch Disney and Hannah Montana is one of my favorite shows on that channel.

Amy- Hee! I can't wait for you to start watching so we can discuss together.

YES I LOVED THEM ALL!

Can't Do That on Television was my favorite thou. They always got slimed at the end.

Somoone help me think of this shows name- It took place in a mall, there was a mannequin that would come to life when the store closed, and a security guard puppet looking dude named Sam.

I didn't think Degrassi High was only on in Canada. I've heard of it but never watched it. It is for 13 year olds. I was probably too young for the first one and too old for the second one.

In Canada there are a lot of things you can say on cable or radio that you can't in the US. In fact I think they even have nudity on TV after 10pm or something like that. I don't think most people realize how much Americans are prudes.

I'm guessing you bleeped out wet dream. It is a serious matter, one which this forum has had to deal with before.

I watched some of the original series the other day to see how well it held up, and it was weird hearing the theme music again and seeing all the characters I remembered as a kid. Everything is so 80's, too...and they got a bunch of the original actors to be in the new series (Snake, Spike, Joey, Caitlynn) so seeing them as kids again was interesting.

YTV had a bunch of great shows for kids when I was growing up.

Does anyone remember this chick? I think she used to be blonde. I always thought she was 13 but I guess she just has a really high pitch voice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be_1lDPvcTo

Hey, Dude was awesome! Seriously, so much time spent watching Nick. I remember Pete and Pete, Salute Your Shorts, Roundhouse, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats,..

I would pay whatever for a huge DVD set of old Nick shows.

Thanks for the awesome sig Phin!

lol. Ding Ding ding.

Remember the show, Pinwheel? I don't remember the gist of it, but I do remember a guy that would collect little boxes. When he opened them up they would have sounds in them, like the ocean or the sound of fun. I remember trying to collect sounds in a jar after seeing his cool collection.

That show used to scare me when I was little (I would still watch it tho) and I've never looked at mannequins the same since then Shady

Edit - The old Degrassies are very funny to me, you should deff watch them. I never really got into the new series, I watched a couple of the first episodes when it first came out but never watched it again.. maybe I will give it another go sometime seeing as there are enough episodes that I could keep watching them back-to-back.

I know some of you can relate to how awesome it feels when you find an old series that you become obsessed with and then realize you get to chill out all day and watch it with no delays.

That is one of my favorite things to do. Big Grin
