You also gotta remember the flight sims the USAF, USMC, Army, USN, and USCG use to train pilots. The Army and Marine Corps also use video game technology to train infantry and tankers.

the purpose of my blog was to talk about games that are generally not used for real world situations.

I know about flight sims and other games.

I used the skills I learned in Mass Effect to stave off the invasion of a malificent AI race!

All joking aside... I had read about the AA kid awhile back and thought it was awesome! Good thing that other kid played a hunter instead of a warrior... he might have tried to charge it!

"why isn't the moose stunned!"

Well, did the moose go for him or did he just think it was a dangerous carnivore? Because, y'know, it's not... Maybe it was just bemused by a kid deciding to take a pretend dirtnap in front of it or it wasn't really bothered

He kept waving a banana in front of me and calling it a female aardvark

Moose are very territorial and aggressive animals, so it wouldn't take much for the thing to attack him. Esp if the moose was rutting.

As much as you meant this blog post to be good you just added fuel to the fire for Jack Thompson. His old theory that GTA is a crime training guide. Sometimes in the pursuit to bring video games into the light as this wonderful thing people forget the most important thing. They are just games. Can't I just sit back and play a game for what they are: entertainment, fun, a way to pass time...
