An intresting read there, and I do wonder where the evoloution of the MLG events will lead. I can see the sense in trying to atract the WOW player base (it's a lot of people/a lot of money to be made). But I was surprised to see a game that at it's heart is rules/dice/probability based rather than a more traditional PC FPS game. I dont know how it will fit into the circit, or weather it/the palyers would be execepted on the same level from a skill point of view? But then again I guess you could look at south Korea and the dominance of Starcraft... .
OOOO this is very exciting. Especially since WOW has stolen me away from any other console or PC games at this time. This is one game though that I didnt see being picked up by MLG. I am also curious as to the rules for arena tourneys, and how they will be organized. Will they be using the Blizzard servers or are they getting licensing for private servers?
