You can compete in Arenas, but it's about as exciting as exciting...Something not exciting at all. I would have come up with a really witty simile there but I'm pretty hungover and tired. Also, there is minimal skill involved in WoW PvP. It basically boils down to two things: who has the best gear, and who can mash numbers the fastest. Sure MLG made a good business decision, but they're still retarded. I mean, come on. It's MLG. Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuumb. |

Halo 3 and WoW has the largest collections of ass holes in the gaming community. What does that tell you about MLG?

...It's full of beer bong chugging frat boys and cat ear wearing Naruto fans? |

Most likely. |

sorry to say this but it has to be said:
Firstly, good step and great initiative. Secondly, quit calling it a PC circuit when it is only WoW until you support other games. Now that I think about it, even when they do carry other games it doesnt mean they "support" them. In fact that brings up something I thought of long ago: MLG should be called HLG (Halo League Gaming), lol. Anyway, I hope they do this right and take the appropriate steps to ensure success, as the PC market holds alot of opportunites and I love to see people integrated at events. It's a great step to see the two merging, even if it is just WoW right now. Can't wait to see the bread and butters of PC gaming (If this will even happen) like Quake, CS, and more at the events! |

MLG should have taken CS instead. You can have FPS Doug commentate.

Counter-Strike players are the scum of the earth. Let me put this in a way CS players can understand, since their vocabulary is so limited: n00b pwning cs players r teh sux l0l! |
||||

That goes for pretty much most of MLG players. |
||||
|
Well yeah, but it is especially rampant in CS. |

Because most of the best and well known players are part CGS, and even though CGS allows them to go to other events, it is only when CGS ALLOWS them. Most of the time CGS says no, especially if it is a big company and since MLG is a direct competitor I guarantee they wouldn't be able to go, so this is probably the main reason they didn't pick up CS, among other things. |

Eww...World of Warcraft at MLG. I almost died of boredom watching it @ WSVG last year. Hey, why not put solitaire or minesweeper also. That would really have some intense action. LOL
If they are going to add a PC game I'd go with Unreal Tournament or COD4. PS: Sorry Amy "Did you just grab my ***?" ~ Sig created by me. |

Hey, don't apologize with me, I am not a WoW pvp'er and even though I have years into this game, it would not have been my choice to be the ONE PC title in a competitive circut- for the reason that you stated: it is extremly hard to watch and follow. |

You don't pvp? You strike me as a fierce leader of a vicious war band bent on destroying the opposite faction of yours. |

Oh I am fierce, but it is just as competitve to me to group up 20 people in absolute cordination to take down one boss, as it is to group with two others and pvp. Both means to play the game have their following- I just love PvE when I am playing WoW too much and don't have time to focus on both. I don't know what it is, but to coordinate that large of a group to accomplish their objective is much more satisfactory to me then leading a small team. In all honesty, I don't PvP simply because I don't need another addiction level in the game. |
